Some notorious armed robbers have finally met their match after they were arrested by men of the Nigeria police in Oyo.
Another tremendous success by Oyo State Police Command which have resolutely determined to insulate the state from any form of criminal activities. These achievements were as a result of the fighting spirit of the amiable leader CP ABIODUN ODUDE.
(1)BURGLARS NABBED,PROPERTY RECOVERED:
The duo of 27 year old Oluwaseun Aderibigbe and 28 year old Issah Rafiu broke into the house of yet to be identified victim in Lagos at night time and carted away several valuable properties including victim's Sorenzo Kia jeep in which the stolen valuables were taken away. To cover up their track the suspects vandalized the CCTV camera installed in the house and made away with the PVR decoder. Nemesis however caught up with them through credible intelligence.They were arrested at their criminal hideout at Cele Adaba, Apete area Ibadan. Exhibit recovered include one Sorenzo Kia jeep, Dell laptop, one Samsung iPad, one Samsung S4 and an Itel phone, a PVR CCTV decoder and assorted jewelries.
( 2) ANOTHER NOTORIOUS SUSPECT NABBED FOR CAR THEFT:
Victor Joseph,a 25yr old man has been arrested by the SARS of the command. The suspect who stole an Acura MDX saloon car with reg numb KJA 170 DS from where it was parked at 20 Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos, was arrested at the Lagos Ibadan Old Toll Gate.The suspect was arrested with the stolen car while driving it into Ibadan where a receiver yet to be identified was awaiting to receive it.
(3) ARMED ROBBERY GANG SMASHED, ARMS AND AMMUNITION RECOVERED:
A gang of dare devil armed robbers responsible for the spate of armed robbery in Ehin Grammar, Ayegun ODO OBA and other areas of the state have been smashed by men of anti robbery of Oyo State Police Command. The suspects raided several houses and killed a night guard who stood in their way. The suspects were picked up at their hideouts in Ibadan in preparation for another deadly assignment. The leader was arrested in his hideouts at Ikorodu by operatives. Upon interrogation he confessed to a series of armed robbery activities within Ibadan metropolis. Exhibits recovered include five cut to size locally made single barrel guns and mobile phones stolen from victims.
