The Lagos State Police force have arrested 17-year-old Hannah Osazuwa, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend Tomide Akintoye, to death at Gowon Estate in Egbeda.
It was gathered that on Monday morning, an argument ensued between the couple and Osazuwa, who was treated to a lavish birthday celebration, allegedly stabbed Akintoye, alias Life of Tomson, with a pair of scissors.
According to a source, who spoke to The Guardian, the suspect who resides at Idimu, was cutting her hair with the scissors at the time.
“They had a nice weekend together. They were lovers and the guy celebrated the girl’s birthday. But early this morning, they had a disagreement. The girl was using the scissors when they started fighting,” the source said.
“The guy was using his hand to beat her but she used the scissors and stabbed him on the chest.
I heard Osazuwa caught her boyfriend chatting with another girl on Whatsapp, which led her to believe he was cheating on her.
One thing led to another, they started arguing, she pulled out a scissors and stabbed him close to the heart. He bled internally, and died on the spot,” the source added.
Spokesperson for the Lagos State police command, Olarinde Famous – Cole, who confirmed the incident said the case would be transferred to the Homicide Department for further action.
