The death of Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya, at the age of 42 has
been making the rounds.
The popular actress, passed on in Canada months after she welcoming her first child.
Speculations are that Moji died of cardiac arrest on the night of Wednesday, May 18, while some people are saying that she passed on as a result of complication arising from child birth.
Since the news of her death came to fore, her colleagues have taken over the social media eulogizing her.
Recall that the daughter of legendary musician Victor Olaiya just concluded her divorced from her first husband, Bayo Okesola.
The deceased will be remembered for her roles in movies such as ‘No Pains No Gains’, ‘Sade Blade’, ‘Nkan Adun’, and ‘Omo Iya Meta Leyi.’ She will also be remembered for her last Instagram post which read thus The post read thus: It read, “Allhamdulilahi to you Allah I give all the glory for all you have done. I will forever praise and worship you. It’s not by power but the Grace of Allah. Thank you for the gift of life. Thanks also to all my friends and family my fans for your supports and prayers. Love you all.”
Her last movie titled Iya Okomi was released in 2016. The movie, starred Foluke Daramola and Funsho Adeolu. Prior to her death, the actress had planned the premiere of the movie to take place in July.
Her death follows the demise of popular actors, Olumide Bakare, and Pastor Ajidara
